Our Story
At Portlaoise Diesel Ltd, we’ve been keeping diesel fuel systems running for over 30 years.
Originally founded by John Brennan, the business was built to fill a gap in the market at a time when there was very little support available for the repair of diesel injectors and pumps. In 2023, John retired and passed the business on to Eugene Hearns, who had worked alongside him for over 15 years, ensuring the same knowledge, standards, and service continue today.
We specialise exclusively in the testing, repair, and supply of diesel fuel injection systems. That means diesel pumps, injectors, and the critical components that keep them operating correctly. We don’t work on vehicles, engines, or turbos our focus is 100% on doing one job properly.
From our workshop in Portlaoise, Co. Laois right in the heart of the Midlands, we serve customers all across Ireland, and can also arrange worldwide shipping when required. Our customer base includes farmers, hauliers, and mechanics working with all makes and models of diesel engines.
We carry a wide range of products in our store, including injectors, pumps, suction control valves, metering valves, and repair kits. Alongside this, all repairs are carried out in-house using specialist equipment, including our recently installed Hartridge HK1400, allowing us to expand our capabilities, particularly with EUI units.
We aim to provide a fast turnaround, typically within 2–3 days, and we’ll always do our best to source hard-to-find parts where possible.
Our approach is simple friendly, honest, and straight-talking. We won’t repair or sell anything that isn’t needed, and we believe in doing the job right the first time.
We are authorised Stanadyne agents, and all reconditioned repairs come with a 6-month warranty, with 12 months manufacturer warranty on new parts.
